Data deletion instructions
Fixerr AI, operated by Fixer Global (Private) Limited, lets businesses connect their Facebook Page and Instagram professional account so they can answer customer messages from Messenger and Instagram Direct. This page explains how to delete that data.
1. If your business connected a Facebook Page or Instagram account
You can delete your connection and its data in any of these ways.
- In the Fixerr AI dashboard: open the Facebook or Instagram channel settings and choose Disconnect. The stored Page access tokens are deleted immediately and Fixerr AI stops receiving and sending messages for that Page or account.
- In your Facebook settings: go to Settings and privacy, then Settings, then Business Integrations (shown as Apps and Websites on some accounts). Find Fixerr AI, select Remove, and confirm. Meta then notifies Fixerr AI automatically, and we delete your connection and the associated Messenger and Instagram conversation data.
- By email: send a deletion request to [email protected] from the email address on your Fixerr AI account, naming the Facebook Page or Instagram account concerned.
2. If you messaged a business that uses Fixerr AI
If you sent a message on Messenger or Instagram to a business that uses Fixerr AI and want that conversation deleted, email [email protected] with:
- The name of the business, Facebook Page or Instagram account you messaged.
- Your name as it appears on Facebook or Instagram, and roughly when you sent the messages.
- Whether you want the whole conversation deleted or only certain details, such as a phone number you shared.
We may ask you to confirm that the messages are yours before we delete them, so that nobody can delete another person’s data. We will also let the business you contacted know, because it controls that conversation.
